Perhaps the most important legacy from hosting Olympic Winter Games is the ongoing use of our facilities by youth, families and groups of all sizes and types. Soldier Hollow is a recognized leader worldwide in Legacy, providing affordable year around opportunities for
Utahans to enjoy Soldier Hollow.
With the support of the Rossignol Ski Company, and with the community support by individuals such as the acclaimed artist, Robert Duncan, Soldier Hollow provides a great youth group experience throughout the winter.
Cross Country Skiing
For only $3 per youth*, Soldier Hollow provides a trail pass, cross country ski equipment (or snowshoes), and a lesson. Over 38,000 Utah youth have enjoyed this experience.
Tubing
With lifts
to tow you up the hill, Soldier Hollow’s tubing hill is very
popular. Opening at noon every day during the week, a trip that
includes tubing is a special experience. For an add on of $8 per
youth to the cross country skiing fee, tubing can be included. This
package is not available on Saturdays or during Holiday Periods.
Minimum Size
We ask that youth groups be twenty or more, and please book in advance so that we can provide the best possible visit to Soldier Hollow. Many groups - church, scout, school, etc. - now plan their winter to include several visits, some weekly or even two or more times a week.
Just tell us what works best for you. We'll do our best to customize.
* Youth ski group rates are based on $3 per youth in groups of 20 or more. Those 14 and older (including accompanying adults) are $6. Please be sure that the group is primarily comprised of youth.
